I'm sad we couldn't bring him back for $5M. That's very fair for what he can do. I suspect the failed trade to Toronto for Kadri burned our bridge with Brodie and he didn't really want to be back.
I think Brodie is a better fit for what Toronto needed in their top four than Piets TBH.
