Petan replacement except he’s from the Soo
Even on a Marlies deal I'd still be mehSeney was really bad last year, but I guess he is a solid middle 6 scorer similar to Petan otherwise. Not the first guy I would have signed personally.

Really don't see the point of an NHL contract slot with him, but oh well, he'll be on the Marlies all year, and if he's not, he's already exceeded my expectations at that point!
i think very soon you will see a ho sang or a semyanov in for him(if he continues to not make an impact)So how much rope is Keefe going to give this guy.
I know he doesn't get paid much. I know it's early. I just figure there's got to be a better plumber than him.
Not a big deal, but eventually it will be.

honestly i think waiving brooks was more because of what they saw in ho sang and semyonov, not about amadio at all. but since amadio has nhl experience he was the best stop gap option while those 2 got some games to adjust to the leafs system a bit more with the marlies. He's already out of the lineup. Short of there being another injury, he likely won't get in again.
Plus Semyonov will likely get a chance over him too.
Spezza and Brooks have nice chemistry so going to have to disagree. Amadio looks like he's stick handling in mud when Spezza passes to him. Jays wild card was a good reminder that every game matters. Should have just pushed Brooks the extra 3 games before finally having no choice but to finally decide what to do with him when Matthews comes back. For all we know Brooks could have had one of his sneaky goals in game 2 and we're 2-0-1 or 3-0 instead of 2-1. These little things add up even though 4th line is more or less irrelevant when viewed on a single game basis.honestly i think waiving brooks was more because of what they saw in ho sang and semyonov, not about amadio at all. but since amadio has nhl experience he was the best stop gap option while those 2 got some games to adjust to the leafs system a bit more with the marlies.
no point in playing the what if game, because for all we know he could have cost us a game and we would be 1 - 2. all im saying is i believe it was more brooks vs. ho sang/semyanov, not brooks vs. amadio.Spezza and Brooks have nice chemistry so going to have to disagree. i like brooks but losing or keeping him likely doesnt impact wins and losses more than any of the other guys.
I guess I see it like this.
A: In a bit of a flux with the 4th line. Just send out guaranteed chemistry developed last season.
B: In a bit of a flux with the 4th line, let's be random and put in Amadio.
You are right, option A can go bad too but if you're just making decisions on the fly, it seems like the better option.
