must not know about the book
Never had a desire to read a book written by a failed landscape artist

must not know about the book
We should be called The Maple KampfsKampf in German means "struggle". I'm hoping that this is not a bad omen. LOL
It also means battle or fight.Kampf in German means "struggle". I'm hoping that this is not a bad omen. LOL
Struggle for the opposing team, lol.Kampf in German means "struggle". I'm hoping that this is not a bad omen. LOL
Wow his last name describes the Leafs in the first round. That’s awesome.Kampf in German means "struggle". I'm hoping that this is not a bad omen. LOL
Honestly our fans are like the worst at general knowledge. So many people in this thread asking who the player is....do you not follow other players in the league or other teams.

Every hawks fan I’ve seen talk about him loved him.Have a feeling we will like him.
True fans never have excuses.Too much going on in my life to follow every 15 minute a night PK specialist across the league.
I dont know how closely you guys watched the Blackhawks between 2013-2016.
We had this guy, named Marcus Kruger. Kind of a smaller player. Not the prototypical #gritty bottom 6 guy at all.
And all he did was start basically every shift in the dzone, against top 6 competition, and every shift would end with little Kruger and his rotating cast of linemates putting that top 6 competition into a blender in the ozone. They didnt score alot, but they basically erased a top 6 line every game, which left the Kane line and the 3rd line to feast on weaker competition.
Kampf has been Kruger 2.0. Probably not quite as good at the job, but still excellent. He will face down top competition and leave the other team thinking ‘seriously?! Our best players just got shutdown by those guys’ every game. He will never get the credit he deserves, just like Kruger never did. But he will make you better, and every top line player that gets an easier job in terms of competition and zone deployment will adore him.
Honestly our fans are like the worst at general knowledge.
It's been a while since we've had a pure shutdown centre. It will be interesting to see how Keefe deploys him, and if that will benefit our top players in terms of their usage and their matchups.
I've read a lot about his usage last year, but does anyone know about the season prior when Toews played? Just wondering the impact that has on usage and success
