How is Murray an upgrade over Campbell or Mrazek? He's just as injury riddled as Mrazek and his numbers are easily worse than Campbell's and Mrazek's over the last number of years. How long has it been since he's played a full season?

This is a bad trade in every sense of the word. 75% salary retained on a goaltender that can't stay healthy and certainly can't stop a puck to save his life.

This is why they decided not to fire Dubas? To make boneheaded moves like this? I'd rather they overpay Jack Campbell than having a sieve like Murray.

This is gonna bite them in the ass, you don't have to be a fortune-teller to know how this is going to play out this upcoming season.

I bet Murray doesn't play more than 25 games tops. He'll not even top the .900% and will be 3+ GAA.

This is sheer stupidity in every sense of the word. This what staying status quo gets you.

Should be fun watching Matthews and Marner do their best to outscore their garbage goaltending like they did last season.

Dubas paying back the Sens for the Zaitsev deal?

We dumped him for pretty cheap at the time?

Brown broke out afterwards.

Value right now sucks but Murray breaks out or the 3rd becomes something good in 3 years and we could see this deal be not too bad

I really don’t understand this deal. Little retention and a decent pick for a goalie who has been washed up for a while. If Murray doesn’t bounce back, Dubas can kiss his job goodbye.
