Good deal.
Hope him and Brown get honest chances this year.
I agree partially.
I like Leivo, but like Brown more.
As one of the last 2 remaining in camp, combined with 6pts in 7gp, Brown should be there.

Leivo is the most disturbing of the two as well - he's a homegrown Ontario kid. Even the Toronto kids want out!
Sorry to say that but your local media is doing it. Pretty sure you know that. Very few players can handle that pressure.
It wouldn't make any different on his waiver eligibility, just what he gets paid, where he plays... he isn't waiver exempt anymore.
Is Leivo capable of scoring 20 goals a year in the National Hockey League?

Sure if they put him in a top 6 role but I don't expect it. There are faster, higher skilled options to fill those 4 spots.
Top 6 is becoming a thing of the past. Going forward Leafs top 3 centres should be Matthews, Nylander and Kadri.
So no one will be able to score goals on a "3rd" line centered by Kadri or Nylander?
Poor man's Mark Stone, if he hits his ceiling, which would fit perfectly on a good "3rd" line.
Yeah that's what I said, right?
So a 3rd line in a couple of years of Leivo-Kadri-Brown will not be able to put points on the board?
That's your theory?
Doubtful. He will play fourth line and try to battle for third line
I don't think that was his question IMO.
I agree though, in those roles, which he will be in next year if he makes the roster, he won't be scoring 20.
