That's such a Leafs move to make
No wonder why they are about to fall back to a rebuild

^this guy didn’t watch last years playoff series lmaoLeafs are such a joke lol. Every single year they go for offense. But that’s clearly not the issue. Get a goalie and get some real defensemen. Wow tanev… lol…. Plan the parade. So ridiculous.
Pretty silly post considering we added Tanev, OEL, StolarzLeafs are such a joke lol. Every single year they go for offense. But that’s clearly not the issue. Get a goalie and get some real defensemen. Wow tanev… lol…. Plan the parade. So ridiculous.
Yes, signing Pacioretty to a low risk, low to medium reward contract at a very low cap hit sure is going to result in the Leafs falling back into a rebuild.That's such a Leafs move to make

Any time I hear Plekanec's name, I do not even associate him with a team - just his turtlenecks lol.I still associate this guy with the Habs so seeing him in a Leafs jersey will be weird. Reminds me of when Plekanec had a stint with Toronto.
You’re not wrong. I’m sour grapes. But I’ll be here for all 82 + potential playoffs, nothing will change there. I just don’t really like much about this team until proven wrong.Mmmm...ok. You know those names are in support of one of the strongest rosters in the NHL, right?
Many experts feel the Leafs had one of the best off seasons in the league and this was before resigning Robertson and getting Paccioretty and Hakanpaa.
You are kind of sounding like sour grapes to be honest? Gio? Now you are making fun of someone we might potential sign (and won't) to be our ninth dman? Murray? He is 30 years old and coming back from injury and is our third stringer with a pretty good #4 in the system. That is what you make fun of?
Name a top ten team from last year that had a better off-season. Go ahead.
That's one way to look at it.
Another would be that he improved a team that finished top ten in the league last year. Did any of the nine teams that finished ahead of the Leafs also improve? As much as the Leafs? Anyone?
The Leafs projected opening night line up this year has the following changes from last year on opening night.
OUT --> IN
Bertuzzi --> McMann
Minten --> Paccioretty
Gregor --> Holmberg
Reaves --> Dewar
Brodie --> Tanev
Klingberg --> OEL
Giordano --> Benoit or Hakanpaa
Samsonov --> Stolarz
Keefe --> Berube
Any other top teams have this good of an off-season?

OEL? For real? Dude is more washed up than Pacioretty.Pretty silly post considering we added Tanev, OEL, Stolarz
Did you miss last season?OEL? For real? Dude is more washed up than Pacioretty.
The Leafs have signed old guys to low cap hit 1-2 year deals for years now, and they aren't rebuilding. Signing Pacioretty isn't going to kick them into a rebuild, but whatever helps you feel better I suppose.Signing washed up stars is the first sign of decline
Like a broken record.This is what happens when you have over half your cap tied up in 4 players, you gotta go dumpster diving to fill out the rest of your roster.
Pretty sure the Leafs actually meant to sign Tanev so quite a different scenarioPatches no clue why but Tanev and OEL understand but contracts to long. Hope does not turn into Jeff Finger situation with Tanev.

Perhaps temper the expectations ..That's one way to look at it.
