Yeah good thing because you’re no rocket scientist. You would expose Dermott when all you do is trade him now for a solid UFA left defense or picks back . Yeah that’s brilliant of you Thats mind boggling there bro.

Now here is why I am one, and you are not.

You have to expose a Dman. You trade Dermott, you have no one to expose. 2F, 1D, 1G. No exceptions. Right now there is Kerfoot, Engvall, Dermott, and Hutch as exposed players. And even Dermott needs a new contract first before he can be exposed.

I can provide relevant reading material on this if it is too hard to find on your own. Just let me know - it'll take mere split seconds, and then you can talk from a position of knowledge.

I would miss all the fun if you didn't keep doing this to yourself though. The board needs good comedy and posts to laugh at.

We added Foligno & Nash we already have Spezza/Thornton/Engvall pre sure we have depth on our bottom 6 without him, just sayin dawg!

Keep Dermott he adds more too our team then Kerfoot with a cheaper cap hit....and Kerfoot is easier to replace atm, we can always trade Dermott in the offseason for a pick and force Seattle to take another player.

well obviously u dont know the expansion rules
they need to expose 1 dman under contract minum ... guess what ... if you trade dermott you literally only have 4 and would have to sign a guy just to expose him and what player would want to do that ?
also good luck finding a player better than dermott at that cap hit ... even with 50% retention there is no player making less than 1.6 mil who is a better replacement.

I see someone hasn't seen the standings in about 2 months. They are 6th out of 8 in their division. 3 points up on 7th place columbus, 6 points back of 4th place Nashville, and a whooping 15 points back of 3rd.

Dallas is about too bring back 3 of there all-stars trust me there not selling!

Bishop + Radulov + Seguin

They did the same thing lastyear or the year before....won almost every game in the remaining 20.

Or trade for him tomorrow too. Still a deadline going on here. I know the rules well. Ask the other fella how hecwas keeping Both Dermott and Holl not me

That's 5 depth players I'd much rather have play over Stinkyfoot.

Dermott you only have 1guy that can step up atm and if we make that move today it takes away from our depth on defense come playoffs!

Travis has been solid all year, Kerfoot on the other hand has been a ghost.

Spezza easily took his position mid season!

Dermott & Bogosian are a awesome pair. I would love to keep him. Expansion is a major pain in the arse. I think you missed something between this back and forth. Anyways see how the chips fall tomorrow.

I don't care if they pick a single player in the 2021 draft in fact I hope they don't trade every pick you have in 2021 keep spending money buy as many players as you possibility can, Scott Laughton, Mike Hoffman, Kulikov, Vatanen, I don't care this is go for it time let's f***ing GO

I was hoping for one of Ullmark, Driedger or Kuemper. Rittich is OK, though I can’t say I’m too comfortable betting our season on him if Campbell goes down. Same goes for Freddy, if he gets healthy again.

Hopefully Campbell’s nagging injury doesn’t get any worse!

Rittich is solid and too be honest should have been Calgary's #1 goalie this year but they signed Markstrom!

He was top3 in the second half of the season lastyear!

I like Elliott over the guys you mentioned though.

I feel like we have 3solid goalies that can help push each other, all it takes is one of them to get hot and were rollin!

Last i checked the trade deadline isn’t over dude is it. You’re all smart and forgot that little insignificant piece of info. I’ll wait until tomorrow. You didn’t do that protected list yet. Scared it’s going to bite you.

Not saying Kerfoot will be here next year, but we already have 5M available when Anderson leaves at the end of this year. 2.5-3M of that to Hyman and the rest to a 1B goalie.

Seattle can only select Dermott’s RFA rights though. We can sign him for minimal compensation. He’s from Ontario
