Robertson is much better currently and gadjovich is terrible. Middleton is worth more then Engvall which equals the gap between wiesblatt and Robertson. The deal is close but Toronto has no interest in trading Robertson or Engvall. Make it simple Middleton for torontos 2nd + hirvonen.

No matter how you spin it no one is trading a 21 year old top 4 d man with a very good chance at being a top pair d man in a few seasons for a middle 6 power forward and a good d prospect.

Thats true to of the top 3 pieces are going to Toronto. The problem is the piece with the most value is going to Arizona. So basically piece 1 and 4 for piece 2 and 3. Leafs biggest needs are another top 4 d and a good goaltender. This deal addresses neither and takes a 21 year old top 4 defender away from the leafs. Doesn't make any sense.
