Interested to see what the pick is, but a good deal for both sides. Leafs don't want to pay two goalies and Bernier can help take the load off Gibson.

Regardless, always liked Bernier, hopefully he does well. :)

Nice! I figure maybe there's some retention involved given Anaheim's cap/budget situation but I don't really care. More retention slightly better pick but I would have given him away for free so I'm happy.

Seems weird to take on that salary but I'm guessing the already paid signing bonus is a factor.

Actually scratch that, forgot about him being paid the signing bonus July 1st. Only due 2.15 for the rest of the year, Ducks should be able to fit that in without retention
