You are making yourself look foolish. Every team would love to have multiple wingers like Stone on their roster.

Don't bother.
You could have evidence (and it's says to find it) that Stone is one of the most gifted wingers both offensively and defensively in the NHL. And you wouldn't get this dude to agree. Best to move on.

My only issue with trading Gio for Stone is the massive hole on the backend we'd have. No one internally can make up those minutes.

What? Is Chiasson not working out for you guys?

He's been really good
But he is, what he is.

Plays heavy, uses the body, has provided a goal and good offensive pressure. I have no issues with what Alex has provided.

I didn't ask for anything. Stone IMO is probably the most overrated player in the NHL

Says Stone is the most overrated player in the NHL. Think's he's similar to Jiri Hudler.

Do you follow hockey?

There is not a chance Ottawa lets Mark Stone go for Giordano.

You're incredibly ignorant.

I'm a Flames fan, I love Gio, but Stone Is the best two way winger in the NHL, maybe Palat is close. He's not 'soft' and even if he is, do you hate Gaudreau?

My point was we don't need more of those players. We need to be harder to play against.

I hate the sens but this hilarious coming from a Flames fan. Flames overrate Giordano so bad.

Stone is underrated as ****
Find a post of me overrating Giordano and you might have a point, but you won't find one.

The fact that you wouldn't trade Giordano for Stone is you overrating him...
It has nothing to do with how I value Giordano.

The Flames issues are on their blueline more than anything, making an already gaping hole bigger would be sheer stupidity. I also don't want Stone because the Flames already have enough non-physical wingers.

Just because Stone can score doesn't make him non-physical and you pushing it isn't doing any good.

He battles hard, does good on the boards and around the net. He's not some perimeter point getter.

As for trading Gio for him, one is young and elite, in a hole we definitely have, and one is old and elite, in a spot we have two more solid players (Brodie being better than Gio) and some really great prospects.

Not sure if other GMs will see it that way, After decking a Referee which pretty much looked intentional pretty much to every one that saw it.
GMs aren't trading for him being he is a bottom pairing defenseman making 5.25 million, it has nothing to do with him hitting Henderson

The Flames biggest need by far is defense, not RW. You don't make a big hole bigger by trying to plug a lesser one, it just doesn't work that way if the team actually wants to improve.

We have Brouwer, Versteeg and Chiasson on Rw compared to Brodie, Hamilton, Gio, Jokki, with Kylington and Andersson a year or two off. I really don't see how you think our defense is worse than are.

Also, having the best two way winger in the whole league sure goes a long way for defense. Not mentioning his other skills, his takeaways alone make it a lot harder for the other team to score, and easier for us.

Please stop calling him the best 2way winger in the league, because it is simply not true

We also have Frolik on RW and Frolik & Brouwer in the top 6 is not terrible. However moving Giordano and having to use Hamilton on the top pairing and Engelland, Wideman or Kulak in the top four would be an absolute train wreck.

Look you clearly have some hate for Stone, I'm not even gonna argue. I give. If you feel Jokki isn't even worthy of a mention either, I don't know..

I didn't mention Jokipakka because he would be the clear #3 in that situation, which is also a bad situation.
