As a hawks fan, it is frustrating seeing Demidov and Sennecke above Levshunov. Even seeing other defensemen in his draft class ahead of him too lol

Levshunov would be incredible in a junior tournament againt kids but he doesn't have that luxury. Being in the AHL is a bit boring compared to the WJC spotlight but he's got incredible potential. He's leading the entire AHL in shots on goal for defensemen and improving every game down there.

Top 10 per division per position. Thought it'd be easier to separate. Maximum 25 NHL games and under 25.

What is keeping you from elevating Kieron Walton on this list? His numbers are at level with Sennecke, but for some reason he's in your HMs alongside Colby Barlow who is a year older and not even PPG.

We can compare him also to Matthew Wood, another tall player. Walton is a better skater, younger and is making much more rapid progress. I still like Wood though.

I like Walton, I'm also from Sudbury so I see him a lot. I think he's rapid for his size, and has great hands.

However, I do find that he doesn't use his body much for a guy who's 6'6. Doesn't hit all that much or get engaged physically. I'd also like to see a full year of work before putting him on this list.

At the start of the season nobody would even have him in Honourable Mention so it's fantastic to see his growth. That being said, I think he likely sneaks in the #10-15 range by end of season.
