My first inclination was "how dare you have my St. Patrice Bergeron so low!" My second inclination was "well, if that's true then it should be much easier to replace him in a summer or two and keep the Bruins relevant in the Pasta/McAvoy era".

Fine, I'll give it an attempt, split up by tiers...

The elite of the elite, franchise level Centers(McDavid is a tier of his own but that's unnecessary space to take up):

McDavid
Mackinnon
Draisaitl
Matthews
Hughes

The elite Franchise Centers just below the very best:

Barkov
Pettersson
Thompson
Crosby
Point
Stamkos

The All-Star 1Cs:

Zibanejad
Aho
Hintz
Hischier
Stutzle
Malkin

The legit 1Cs:

Bergeron
Dubois
Tavares
Miller
Scheifele
Eichel
Barzal

The Low end 1Cs or higher end 2Cs(Depending on how you define a 1C I guess):

Pavelski
Kopitar
Larkin
Hertl
Lindholm
Cozens

HMs: Nelson, Horvat, Eriksson Ek, Zegras, Couture

You should see the Hischier and EP poll if you think there’s this large a difference between them— lot of people think Hischier is better.

A thankless task, actually attempting the list. This is pretty good. I have a few disagreements on tiers, but I’d rather just say good job. :thumbu:

Pavelski hasn't played center for quite a few years. He's a winger.

Otherwise, this looks almost exactly like what I would rank the top centers as. I'd maybe move Miller and Cozens each down one tier, and Horvat and Zegras up one.
