Yes seguin and skinner wernt top 5, but were they considered top 5 for their nhl drafts 2 years before the draft? No. And domi shouldn't be either. Even if he did commit 100 percent to the ohl do you think he would have gone top 5? I just think putting him at 2nd overall is completely ridiculous right now. A lot can change in the future and many prospects have shown us that. But right now he's not a top 10.

Domi only fell cause he threatened to go to the USHL. IMO he would have went 1st ahead of Ekblad if he made it apparent that he was going to the O.

Its just so early at this point.
Most of these kids havent even played in Junior yet. Look at the players who where said to be top 10 for the 2011 NHL Draft a few years ago, alot struggle with the transition, or thrive and become better then most would expect.

Yes and in 2010 for the q draft everyone knew michael matheson was going ncaa and he was still ranked 1st. In the rankings they don't do it based on probability of entering the league.
No. American players who where committed to the NCAA where ranked high as well.
OHL Central Scouting does not care about NCAA commitments, they just rate based on best avaluable and let teams determine who is and is not interested in the OHL.
With respect, this is something that I am VERY familiar with.
THAT is the worst one i've seen in my life, Alex Forsberg will not even be in the first round first of all (call me crazy), Jordan Subban is lower, Curtis Lazar and Jones (isn't a 95) at 8? Are you serious, You even Forgot Madison Bowey who lead Manitoba a low rated Manitoba to 5th and is playing for the Kelowna Rockets that produce good D and the best 95 skater, Domi is good but I doubt he goes 2nd overall, I say maybe 9-20.

I have to say though Bowey IMO i not the best 95 skater, he is an amazing skater though...but best well that comes down to Mackinnon, Cammarata, Duclair or Subban...mackinnon is super strong on his skates, amazing speed, and I would have to say the best acceleration I have seen in a long time, he is in top gear within only 3 strides.
As for Domi in the 1st round I find it a bit hard, small and though very skilled and exciting to watch he lacks creating when pressured IMO.

I consider him a late 1st round to early 2nd. But he can easily play himself into the top 15.
With due respect scoutman1 I think Forsberg, and Duclair should at least get an HM on your list.

It's actually more of a case that there was a particular team that Domi wanted to go to a specific team and that Peterborough was the first organization to say "go to hell"
