are we all ready to admit now that the DeAngelo trade was even shittier than the Risto trade?
It’s a good question, problem is they made the commitment to Risto, and moved heaven and earth to do it. However, there was no way that when Fletcher traded for him, that he thought he’d have to make this kind of trade after 1 year.

The Risto trade was one of the worst trades in recent history. No hyperbole.

The DeAngelo trade was bad, but they didn't give up 13th overall and he at least had some redeeming qualities.

If they are retaining 50%, the prospect should be at least somewhat decent. Key phrase - "should be".

Does this have implications with the St. Louis trade? Not sure what the hold-up would be for in a cheaper one-for-one
