The Kings are 1-0 in the pre-season when the Big Red Dog is captain.

So if I am reading this thread correctly, Kings score 7 goals and win 6-1 in OT.

From the Sutter postgame:

"On whether Kevin Gravel will have a chance to play in the NHL this year:
He played his first exhibition game tonight, so that’s good for him."

The hell kind of random question is that, but great response

Sometimes I expect Sutter to just stare at a reporter after asking a dumb question then go to the next reporter without a word.

From Baja, California to the Canadian Rockies, I want to talk sports with you!

I remember listening to Hacksaw for hockey updates because he actually was one of the few local radio personalities who talked hockey and had hockey guys on.

He also got a lot of players' names wrong, like Kings defenseman Philippe Bowcher.

Nice, they are doing 3-on-3 practice.

Not for long. It took Weal all of about 30 seconds to end that. Of the opening faceoff, Weal brings the puck in over zone, and draws a boarding penalty. Kings win draw, mcbain taps it over to Weal out high on top , drifts to his right and spots TT who has his stick planted on the ice in the crease for the redirect. Overtime over. So much for practicing 3 on 3.

Either way, I don't think it'll help our OT/SO record, especially if we can't even reach the 3v3 period.

This team is not built for 3v3. Our 'best' players aren't exactly burners/scatbacks. I'm not going to go so far as to say 'don't practice it,' but I don't think any amount of practice will morph some of our battleships into open-ice threats.

Also I'm totally speculating here but I hypothesize younger players and teams are much better at OT/SO than older teams as those players have grown up with it too...I'd love to research it but a combination of laziness and lack of time right now kills me.
