Sounds like a bit of a poor man's JBD from what I've read. I've seen him play but never really made note of him.

Kitchener has 2 empty import spots. Both could be filled by Mesar and Hamara. Immediate top minutes for both.

I almost certainly think he’ll end up in Kitchener - which is the best move for him in all honesty.
That's impossible.

After signing ELC, he can only go back to Tappara. He's under contract until 2024, he can't just breach it to go to Kitchener. Only if he makes NHL will he play in NA.

Wasn’t he featured in one of those Upper Deck promotions at the draft?

Probably signed right away as he can't wait to meet his childhood hero, Thomas Chabot.

I seem to recall seeing a video with him in it holding a Chabot card and just BEAMING.

I don’t believe that’s how it works. If he didn’t sign an ELC - I believe you’d be 100% correct.

But since he signed a contract in Ottawa, he can be loaned out to Tappara, but can also play in the AHL or CHL.

Him signing in Ottawa allows Ottawa all the control with where he plays next season - that’s why he was signed this early to an ELC.
