Reaves was a terrible trade. He does not even fit how we play...hopefully he's gone July 1st. Probably Caps pick him up and have Wilson AND Reaves though.

God, please no. We're trying to get faster, not slower. We have some good players coming up from Hershey this year, you guys can keep Reaves.

Pens brought in Ryan Reaves to pound the visor wearing cowardly Tom Wilson's face to mush but alas the Washington coaching staff felt it wise to protect him from the beating he so richly deserves.

Can we please keep Reaves out of this thread, he's awful. As overrated as Wilson is, He's still miles better than Reaves.

Wilson in not overrated...to expect him to became the next lucic, is to temper expectation (LOL), Lucic now is a big slow winger, Wilson start to be more usefull than Lucic IMO

He will probably never reach Lucic offensive numbers from the peak Lucic, but he's starting to became, an effective complementary player on the top 6, he's faster than Lucic...hard hitter, sometime too much, he's just 23 y old, he wont play like that at 28-30. He became a very good PKers, and creat space for talented player and stand up for his teemates

Kid begin to learn he's more usefull on ice than in the box, he get somes skills to play with better players, there a lot of hate about Wilson for suspects hits, a deserved hate, but poeple dont realyse how he's important for a team other than caps fans, he's starting to be the exact player caps hope when they select him 16th overall. Keep him in the top 6, he will still progress

You say he's not overrated then you proceed to overrate him by calling him a 40-50 pt winger. Dude hasn't even hit 25 points in a season....priceless.
