Toffoli has less than half of Reinharts 5 on 5 points. Not sure what glue you sniffed before making this post, but it must have been fragrant.
What Reinhart is doing this season is irrelevant to Toffoli value this season.

Reinhart was traded in july, so his value should be gauged for what he did last season, and what he did in his career.

Last season Reinhart had 19 5 v 5 points in 54 games, Career 5v5 34 points per 82. 40% of his points came for PP. 30% career points come from PP:

Toffoli is pacing for 15 in 54 5 v5 this season , and has Career 5v5 32 points per 82. 32% of his points have come in PP this season, 21% in in career.

Sam Reinhart is actually MORE of a PP specialist than Toffoli.

There is hardly a difference even if Toffoli is having its worst 5v5 in his career if your compare their last season. If you compare their career, its a tie pretty much. Your narrative that Reinhart can actually score at 5v5 unlike Toffoli that is a PP specialist is pure bullshit.

So you figure what he did in past seasons is more relevant than what he's doing this season where his trade value is actually being discussed?

If that's the case I'd like to offer you Sean Monahan. He was a 34 goal 82 point center a couple years ago. 54% in the dot. Would you like to give up the value of his career season or what he's doing presently?

Habs fans are right below Rags fans in terms of ridiculousness. The guy has single digit 5 on 5 points and you want to sell him for a bigger return than Mark Stone.

Lol you're thick on purpose.

You need to compare the season before Reinhart was traded to Toffoli current season if you want to compare their value. What Sam Reinhart is currently doing this season is irrevelant to what the Sabres got in a trade for him in July. Let's stick to 2020-2021 Reinhart vs 2021-2022 Toffoli.

Sam had a slighlty better 5v5 production (19 in 54 vs 15 pace in 54), but he had 40% on his points coming from PP, while Toffoli currently has 32% of his points coming from PP.

You said Reinhart could actually score on 5v5 while Toffoli is a PP specialist, which is total bullshit. There were pretty even in the 5v5 department before Sam joined the Panthers and Reinhart actually is MORE of a PP specialist than Toffoli.

And nice little strawman at the end, I never mentionned Stone in this thread.

I doubt Toffoli goes to Calgary. Flames not really a mover and shaker type team. LA more likely. If he goes. I doubt Toffoli goes until next trade deadline though. I predict he is a Hab until '23 deadline

If our GM knows something, it’s how to spend a lot on a player we don’t need.

We do not want Zary at all. Pelletier or nothing... MAYBE Coronato for the Farell chemistry, but that's it. None of the Flames other prospects would crack our top5 prospects IMO , and we're not trading Toffoli unless we're getting a prospect that would actually make our pool better

Then we keep him and where more then fine with that, Toffoli is actually one of the vet we want to keep. Toffoli is not on the market, if you want him pay the price, if not we can't talk about other players like Hoffman/Armia who are available

Pelletier or bust? Not on the market? Love to see it

Still a way better return than a late 1st and a bust of a dman.
And at this point, I'd rather have Heineman than Zary. One of them has been able to offensivelly produce vs men

Take a look at this thread. Flames fans were offering a 2nd+cap dump in Monahan for him.

I was just talking about Pavelski and Giroux cause those guys are rentals and even the best rentals haven't been worth a 1st+A prospect in a decade+.

As for Toffoli, I really don't see him getting a 1st+A prospect either but I guess crazier things have happened. Like name one realistic package of 1st+A prospect that another team would agree with I don't think you could. I like Toffoli too and I understand why you wouldn't sell low, but I just don't see a team paying up that much. I think it's gonna come down to 1st+good B prospect that Kent Hughes views like an A prospect.

As a Flames fan I definitely wouldn't move Pelletier + the 1st, and I also wouldn't move Zary+1st but I could see a more desperate team doing something similar, even though I have a hard time finding a team that would spend that much. Whereas there is no chance a Giroux or Pavelski returns 1st+A level prospect as a pure rental

no we weren’t lol

Who’s the bust of a dman lol? 23 year old Valimaki?

Either way, Flames fans said 1st and B prospect, you said no way it’s gonna be 1st+a prospect and that Zary wasn’t good enough. Now you got a prospect worse than Zary and took a cap dump back AND the first is protected.
