Tyler Foli getting moved out of the pacific division would be a great thing for the Canucks. That guy is a classic Canuck killer and needs to be sent to a land far, far away.

Toffoli for a late 1st and the best prospect the Flames can get would be ideal. Flames will probably massively overpay Lindholm and trade Toffoli for a crappy roster player though

Toffoli = Late 1st + 3rd
Hanafin = Mid 1st
Lindholm = Mid 1st + 2nd
Backlund = Late 1st
Tanev = 2nd + 3rd
Zadorov = 2nd + 2nd

adding:
4 - 1st rounds
4 - 2nd rounder
2 - 3rd rounders

Creating $27.6m in cap space, and potentially sign:
O'Rielly $5.75M x 6 years
Dumba $5.5m x 7 years
Bertuzzi $5.5M x 7 years.
Bunting $4.5M x 6 years
Soucy $3.75M x 4 years
Domi $3M x 2 years

Yep. And then you weaponize those assets to acquire an elite sniper and a true 1D. Fill in the rest of the roster with kids and they’ll be good to go.

I don’t see many let alone 6 of the top UFA’s signing long term with a team that just traded half its team due to publicly requesting trades.

Flames lost some pile of talent. Not just Tkachuk and Johnny Hockey. Monahan to injury he was good player also. Fox wouldn't sign there. Now all these guys

They have drafted well that is for sure. Who is their head scout?

You’re suggesting that all twelve events won’t happen? That’s not going out on much of a limb.
Thanks for proving my point?? He'll be lucky if half that list happens.

Actually this might all work out best for the Flames. Their owner will never allow a rebuild by all indications, so they'll probably just be bad by default the next couple years. They could, if the lotto balls fall their way, draft Celebrini or Eiserman next year, then maybe another top 5-10 pick in 2025. Build a fresh culture around them and the younger players they have that want to be there.

If I'm a Canadian team and it comes down to selecting players with similar ability, I'm selecting Canadian every time. Nothing against American people or players. There's just an unproportionate amount of American players recently that are wanting out of Canadian markets for a variety of reasons (Pacioretty, Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Wheeler, Hanifin, Adam Fox)

Hanifin and Lindholm only bringing in mid firsts is funny.

You're funny.

It’s unclear whether anything was proven. How do you know it wasn’t a wishlist or what they think should happen and not so much predicting what will happen?

Or course it's a wishlist. And they'll be lucky to accomplish half of that. Trades are difficult these days because of cap, contracts, and players are more picky than ever about where they want to go. And with Calgary being seen as a place nobody wants to be, they'll have a tough time attracting marquee free agents.

Flames have absolutely zero need for Ullmark, and cant take on massive salary. A Hall for Toffolli swap would be interesting though.
Hall would be great in Alberta
and since Hanafun wants to walk, Gryzlyk would be a nice addition as well. JMO
