I kinda figured Shultz would be the one to get the first d call up. I think it was a verbel agreement on him signing here. Class move by Dean imo. With the price of defense out there I kinda hope he plays well so he can be a piece of a larger trade. As for toffoli's yo yo act i think the kids were showcased for furture trades and he was the only player that would clear without going thru waviers.

They are being moved around cause they fit under cap and are waiver exempt. Shouldn't surprise anyone.

And its clear as day Pearson is not NHL ready.

Dwight King and AMart both got tastes before getting REAL substantial call-ups. Part of the process. That actually makes sense, Carter looked fine at LW.

I would leave Brown on the fourth line till he finds his game consistantly .
