time to give Kulikov some recognition

You can say what you want about Kulikov, but he seems like a great character guy, and has been played pretty great since christmas (doubling his goal totals etc). Keep him unless you get an offer you cant refuse, which is unlikely.

And lol those people commenting in the article, so clueless.

They are truly delusional.

Im just so happy he is off everyone's scapegoat list.

It's just incredible to see how impossibly ridiculous our fans are with expectations from players. It seems utterly unacceptable for a player to go into any sort of slump or god forbid, make a mistake in a game, no matter how young the player is, or a myriad other circumstances which we are unaware of. Less than a week ago, someone was already trading Huberdeau because they aren't happy with his development in his 2nd year as a professional...

Extremely happy with Kulikov's performance after the healthy scratch. Yes, he still makes a turn over here and there, but he is shown progress and mental toughness, as he is probably aware of all the trade rumors swirling around but yet has worked on his game and is making less mental mistakes. I think overall I am willing to give young players, who have shown they can play and succeed in the NHL, more leeway than veterans who are making the same mistakes.

On to the next wiping boy.... Kopecky or Flash anyone? :sarcasm:

Never once have I had a problem with Kuli. Yes, he was in a slump but the potential has always been there. As for guys like Kopecky, he's horrible even in games we dominate. Last night he made four by my count turnovers, two of which led to scoring chance. Scratches aren't helping him and he is dead weight. He deserves to be the whipping boy as he contributes nothing. Flash being criticized is just frustration after watching him all year and PH not scratching him sooner than he did or denoting him sooner or taking him off PP sooner. Hopefully he finds himself again. Him not recovering at least a little bit would make no sense. A slump is the only logical explanation for him right now. Still, I trade him at the deadline. Change of scenery could be exactly what he needs.

Jovo is another who deserves criticism. The guy just can't play hockey anymore. He came back and had three good games then became the Jovo we have been used to seeing for three or four years. He has a horrible contract and the C which makes him unscratchable, forcing our young Dmen tobdrag him around. Again, dead weight. He needs to retire but he won't until after next year. No matter how good he is in the locker room, he better not get the C next year. On the current team, next years C should go to Campbell.

The only person I expect anything from is Dale Tallon. The players are what they are. Players that were brought in or retained by Dale Tallon minus a few. In the end the glory or fault will lie with him imo.

I hope those aren't people from South Florida. It's bad enough hearing that from other team's fans . Clueless.

Woah, woah, woah, What? Listen in no way at all am I happy with Kopecky's play this season at the slightest bit but last night he was fantastic despite that turnover. He was part of the energy we carried and sparked some of his own energy himself. His best game of the season no doubt.
