Post-Game Talk: Time to finish the story

The fact this complete f***ing CLOWN wrote "Draisaitl < Duchene" tells you all you need to know. Drai > every player in the league not named McDavid or MacKinnon, and the 2nd one is debatable, lol.
This so much this. Leon is number 2 in the world and sometimes number 1. Duchene is a complete has been that couldn’t tie Leon’s skates

I don't know if that second statement is completely true. Setting game 1 aside, the only weak goal Skinner gave up was the 3rd goal yesterday. I watched Bobrovsky give up a goal just as weak in their clinching game against Carolina. They happen to every goalie at some point.

I've been extremely hard on Skinner, but he looks a lot more calm and confident right now than he did last year. And frankly the D in front of him looks so much better as well.
He’s making reflex saves now, which he never did in the RS. No way he kicks out his skate to stop that puck in the RS.

Good golly are the ticket prices eye watering for the cup final this year. I can’t even imagine what the resale market is going to look like
Never seen prices like this before. Lots of out of towners driving the market.

Unironically, I think FlamesNation's Barnburner has been my favorite post season coverage this year. 😂

Quite an enjoyable watch as an Oilers fan, tbh. I feel bad for them almost, having to face the reality that we're this good, again.

There's obviously some major salt, but like, they've actually been pretty fair, too. I've also noticed that all the comments on all their videos are other oilers fans. 😂

I've watched a few of those, they hate us but they sort of want us to win so they can hate us even more.

The Penguins fans on this board are crazy.

There is literally zero history between our two teams but they can't stand us because they somehow think McDavid having success takes away from Crosby's legacy. I don't think any Oilers fan has a problem with the Penguins.

I do…because of that sort of attitude. It’s really entitled and leaves a bad taste

My phone has blown up with people I know asking to buy my tickets. Yeah sorry I don’t have seasons tickets to simply sell the 4 best games of the year and miss a chance to see them lift the cup.

I said it before the Kings series. I had a feeling that if the Oilers somehow got past the Kings with all their skating wounded, and there were a bunch of guys who didn't have their skating legs back after returning from injury, and without Ekholm that they'd start rolling. They just needed to get past that first hurdle and that play right there was the turning point not only of the season but perhaps the legacy of this group. It could have gone a VERY different way if the Oilers didn't score that tying goal in Game 4 against L.A.

That was the loudest I've ever heard Rogers place, after that Bouch bomb hit the back of the net..

Yeah I've had a few people ask me about mine too. Definitely not selling you them for cost that's for sure when I paid thousands to get them at this price. Also no chance I'm parting with game 5 or 7. You couldn't pay me 5k profit to part with a cup clinching game.

You won’t have to sell 7 because we’re winning in 5. That game 5 ticket is priceless

Just dropped a stupid amount of money on lower bowl seats for game 2.

Either taking snipes jr again or the wife.

We beat the doors off in game 6 of the Canucks series that we were at last year and shit kicked the Stars in game 3 this year for games me and my son have been to the last couple years.
Keep up the good vibes.

No more speculation than those saying LA was the toughest opponent. My reasons are fairly solid.

And its just my opinion that LA isn't as good as Vegas or Dallas
fair enough, but I feel like all my butt clenching was done vs LA, and next to no butt clenching was done vs Vegas/Dallas

I would never tell people what to spend their money on, as we all have different life situations as far as money, etc, but as someone who was fortunate to be able to attend every playoff game in all of our previous SC years, I can tell you that for me it was an investment in some of the best memories of my life, that are priceless, and even if one somehow could, I wouldn't sell for any amount of money. It is honestly indescribable what the feeling is to be in the building when your team is awarded the holy grail. It is beyond surreal, and it will stay as a vivid portrait in your mind decades later. I hope you get to experience that joy.
