Although that is true, we still don't know how Skinner responds if the Stars jumped on us for a few shifts after the bad goal. After that goal went in we scored, then effectively played what amounts to perfect in front of him for the remainder of the period. He may very well have dissolved after that - we will never know.
The Stars have skill, but are really not all that scary to defend when they're desperate. On the other hand, the Panthers are less skilled than the Stars up front overall, but you know that clearing the zone and defending the net front is going to be a challenge when they're desperate. Skinner is going to have to fight off one or more of these flurries at some point, and he's going to have to step up in them.
