That scoring winger should be Drake Batherson, who completely disappeared in this series. 1 goal and 1 assist in six games just doesn't cut it...Would be amazing to find a scoring winger to play with Tim.

The team and Tim needs another forward who can drive the play and create. Brady is a complimentary piece.
Yes, I know the box score. His tips and deflected goals are much needed but we don’t see him creating much other offence.Crazy talk.
Brady on one hip had 4G and 7P in this series. That's a stat line similar to Marner and Matthews.
He's every bit a play driver.

He was for sure laboring or his forecheck would have been dynamite.Yes, I know the box score. His tips and deflected goals are much needed but we don’t see him creating much other offence.
Yup, probably would have laid out a couple of their guys if not injured. He was for sure laboring or his forecheck would have been dynamite.

Is there any chance that the Sens would consider bringing back Formenton, if he is proven to be not guilty?Timmy is so elite and so fun to watch. But he needs someone with speed on his line to keep up. Brady and G are too slow.

I would understand 100% if the organization have moved on and this is an absolute non-starter.
Purely looking him as a hockey player, he is/was one of the fastest skaters in the NHL.
No and he quit hockey anyway. He’s working construction, there was an article about it earlier in the season. Is there any chance that the Sens would consider bringing back Formenton, if he is proven to be not guilty?

Going from one of the fastest people in the NHL to ripping cigs and hanging board is one hell of a pivotNo and he quit hockey anyway. He’s working construction, there was an article about it earlier in the season.
Brady is more than a complimentary piece. That being said Tim and Brady need a high quality speedy finisher on that line. The team and Tim needs another forward who can drive the play and create. Brady is a complimentary piece.
If found not guilty, I would happily bring Foremnton back (considering how horrible E.M has looked after all the inconsistencies and details coming to light) but that would be the biggest PR disaster so it would never happen. Is there any chance that the Sens would consider bringing back Formenton, if he is proven to be not guilty?

I don't want to comment on the case because I haven't kept up closely with it, but purely in a hypothetical scenario where Formenton did nothing wrong, returning is probably a pipe dream.
Assuming he gets into shape and comes back for 2026-2027, he wouldn't have played pro hockey for 3 years, and really missed out on 5 years of development in the NHL. I'm sure the guy could hit the elliptical and go and kill it in the third tier Czech league or in that British hockey league that I still think doesn't actually exist, but coming back in the NHL seems unlikely.
I know that Daigle took two years off at a similar age, but despite being a meme he was a legit elite top end talent in some respects, and the league was completely different 20+ years ago. Even with expansion diluting talent, it's such a fast game at the NHL level that I have a hard time believing outside of an absolute elite talent that a player can miss the time Formenton did and get back on track.
I also don't mean fast like skating speed. I mean everything related to the overall flow of the game, decision making, etc.

I wonder how much pressure there would be from the NHL to discourage teams from picking up these players (although, can the NHL do this without risking a lawsuit?). Because otherwise they could be viewed as a market inefficiency by a team that doesn't feel like there would be too much negative impact on them image-wise (Panthers? or like you said, Vegas?).He'll of course never reach his full potential but if he were to come back to the NHL after being in Europe (or even the AHL) for 2025-26 then he could be a solid 3rd/4th liner in the NHL for 2026-2027. Of course this would never happen with the Sens but could see Boston or Vegas picking him up.
