He's back to doing too much. Mainly cause he's getting frustrated with his linemates but he can't lose out on what has made him so successful this season, which is playing a very smart game. Even if his linemates are messing up, he needs to continue and build off that ability.

Should be captain of this team given what I've seen over the last 4 games.

The only one in the top 6 with heart.

I always thought he'd be captain some day.

Watching him in the WJC he had Captain written all over him.
Canada beat Germany quite badly, (partly because Germany was missing 3 forwards and a d-man due to Covid)
but he was hitting everything in sight.

He should at least have an A on this team. He plays with his heart on his sleeve. I'd take the A from Chabot if I was in Green's position.

He is skating around and not shooting. He needs to shoot more. 124th in the NHL in shots on goal.
He passes too much sometimes. Especially when the team is in a rut like this I notice he's always trying to pass. He needs to rip shots all the time.

Stützle is playing like the only guy who is as frustrated as Sens fans are. He's really upped his game this year and the team better do right by him and get a better supporting cast.

I can't count how many passes of his I've seen go right through other guys' legs while they were in a prime scoring spot.

I think he might have top 5ish player in the league potential. Probably the most talented player we've ever had, besides maybe EK. And he just gets it done on both sides of the puck.

He is certainly masking the fall-off of Giroux's play and helping Gaudette get opportunities.

Green's strategy seems to be - Stutzle carries a line on his own. Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson chemistry creates a top line. That should tell you everything about the heavy lifting Stutzle needs to do for this team to be competitive.

what's funny is that one of Alfredssons favourite plays was the curl back entering the zone and hitting the open man. he would do it all the time.

now Stutzle has mastered it and does it all the time. coincidence? i don't think so.

also 4-0 and still backchecking like a demon?

we got a new Alfie. being mentored by old Alfie.

Stutzle is a parameter playmaker, he needs to shoot more & take advantage of his shot. He also needs someone on his line to protect his back, Ostapchuk & Gaudette on his line would be interesting. One can dig pucks out of the corner & the other can get it on net & sometimes score. Ostapchuk can take faceoffs for him.

He takes the center of the ice all the time and attacks the net multiple times each game.

He has gotten into the habit of passing way too much, but he is absolutely not a perimeter player. Who has been after him that he needs protecting?

He's way too fast for pretty much anyone not named Batherson, Chabot or Sanderson. Even Giroux is way too slow now

Note : not talking about skating but passing/pace
In the 30ish seconds left on the PP after scoring on the 5-on-3, the guys were dancing.

Timmy between his legs to Sanderson and Sanderson right back to him in a perfect scoring area.

Instead of shooting he made a gorgeous pass to Norris, who was caught completely off guard and was barely able to tip the puck weakly on net. It's not often Norris isn't ready to shoot...Timmy's vision and passing has reached a new level.

He really does need to shoot more, though.

He is still improving, I still think he can be a consistent 35-45 goal scorer as he enters his prime. If he can achieve that, he will has the capability to be named with the absolute best players in the league.

He just has to decide to shoot.

He has the ability, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was shown video to showcase his glorious shooting options, and harassed by his teammates to shoot the damn puck all the time LOL

Yup, I hear that! Reminds me of Spezza who also had a great shot when he used it.

0 goals in his last 5 games and 7 shots on goal.

Last night again a dominant skating performance by Stutzle vs Anaheim. But he had 0 shots on goal.

I would just like to see him shoot more so we can score more goals. You can't score if you don't shoot.

Seems that now that his scoring pace is back on track he’s lost some shooter mentality.
Agree. He needs to get back to that asap.
