I'm gonna look at the positives.

At the start of the season the Jets picked up a couple of greasy wins from rusty opposing teams where they let off the gas after 40 minutes. If you look at the effort in the second and third periods, plus the fact that the Jets opened up the scoring, a couple of lucky breaks and this could have easily been a 4-3 game.

Kane got a beauty by parking himself in front of the net - I hope that gets replayed for the squad, because good things happen when they get in there. Look at Wheeler's chance (or was it Little?) - had Rask not been on point enough to close the five-hole - boom, goal.

I worry that even if we get a top 3 pick (which it looks like we have a good shot at) Chevy will draft Jones over Drouin, McKinnon or Barkov. Which will be largely a sideways move and we would have wasted a tank year for nothing.

I'm a huge Antro supporter but he was awful tonight. I was at the game, and he caused a lot of problems. Postma and Redmond looked like AHLers as well... Fail for Mackinnon?

thought postma played well, redmond looked like an AHL'er tonight and has in the last 4 games.

PS

neither redmond or postma were on for goals against

The Bruins forecheck was just ferocious. How many times did the puck go into our end that Boston didn't at some point end up controlling it before we got it out? Even so, we played a solid enough game both ways. The obvious loss of concentration after the 2-1 goal was the low point. I hate those stupid exaggerated goal announcements during the play ... maybe Kane was distracted by that.

It's not that bad to lose 3-2 to one of the best teams, but it came at a very bad time.

I thought Antropov was good until the third period where he had some turnovers and couldn't hold the puck in the offensive zone. But he is the only playmaker who can get Kane going it seems?? Wonder if Jokinen is going to be pushed up anytime soon. I don't really like him with Tangradi..... Wellwood seems to be pushed around easily. Should have been benched against the big bad Bruins....

Did someone say Noel actually let the D decide who they partnered with. This guy is in WAY over his head.

If he did then Bogosian would be paired with Byfuglien.

In an interview Bogosian said he wanted to get paired with Buff, but didn't think it would happen. Nice rumour spreading though.

A day late, a buck short. Story of this team.

It's depressing how much this followed the script. PP sucked, Pavs allowed a softy, missed the net on point blank chances, decent effort for the most part but let their guard down at crucial moments.

This surprises me about Antropov. For the first 2 periods anyhow I thought he was one of our better forwards tonight, feeding real nice passes to Kane and Burmistrov all night long. I thought this was one of our better lines.

I think there is a deal to be had with Edmonton or Colorado. I wouldn't mind making a deal or two to change the chemistry a bit. Obviously not trading away any future, but I think there are some deals to be made.

May or may not be truth, but either way Noel is a loser and they won't win with him.

Antropov had some bad puck luck but I thought he was pretty good today.
