Anyone have any theories why 220, 221, 222, 223, and 224 (center Ice) are completely full but 214 and 215 have a whole bunch of seats? They're the same angle as 220 and 221 and are same Rangers shoot twice sections, just on the other side...

My theory is TV.
Your viewpoint from seats on the 31st side of the Garden is the same as it is on television. The logo is upright. You are facing the benches. The Rangers attack right to left twice.
When you are seated on the 33rd st side, your viewpoint is mirrored.
I believe that people want the same view from their seats as they get on television.
I was not going to consider a relocation to the 33rd side of the bowl.
Cheers!

Interesting you say that. My cousin had his upgrade today and he was in Row 14 or 15 of Section 222 (whatever the last row was in the higher price point) and he was looking for something a few rows lower down and if possible perhaps over a section in 223. He prefers the 31st Street side because he likes to be able to see the benches. But when he was playing around with the upgrade tool he found a pair in 212, Row 6. He wasn't sure about it...again, because he prefers the 31st Street side. If I wasn't on the phone with him at the time he might have actually passed on them...but in the end he pulled the trigger.
I can understand his reluctance to pull the trigger.
I have shared seats in old 312 for ~20 years. My view of the ice is burned into my brain. I would have a hard time making a voluntary change. It would take some time getting used to.
That is a sweet upgrade for your brother, btw. Eight Rows and now BELOW the portal, as not to have up and down traffic impacting your enjoyment of the game...
Cheers!

I see 24 in 221 and 26 in 214 and only 6 in 215. I think u only see only ur higher price point in those sections.
I was able to move to Section 208 Row 15, down 2 rows. There are still plenty of seats left in the $53 range. Some lower rows in that range, too. A lot of Row 16's and 17's.
How are things looking in 226? got my appointment on the 1st.
what seat numbers did you get? i am currently in the same row but i called my rep and tried to move back to row 17 because they were closer to the aisle but no new yet

8 in row 13
2 in row 14

Figured this was the appropriate to ask this, any idea when the schedule comes out?
I don't think it's more than a couple of weeks after the season ends but maybe the 2014 Olympics throw a wrench into it?
according to this article release date is July 17

you can move back on your own, you don't need your rep to do so if its the same price.
