Please don't say leafs are back. Hockey universe isn't the same with them playing better plus you're a lucky one living far away from leaf land radio. Nausiating.

I here yah man I here you ,only game Leafs need to be playing in a couple of weeks is golf. Bruins finish in second ,Ottawa will get third ,Tampa wild card.Leafs will make there usual tee of time.

I would be more interested in 3 points for a win and a 2:1 split in overtime.

Here's the thing for me: I don't want any games going into OT or the shootout. Take away the incentive: the loser point. It's a silly anachronism. Just get rid of it.

You want to go with 3-2-1? Here is the only way I would do it:
3 points regulation win.
2 points OT win.
1 point SO win.
Still no loser point. Ever!

That provides the incentive to not play for OT or the SO in close games towards the end of the season. You lose points the further past regulation you go.

Yeah, couldn't stomach a Leafs series. The fans are the worst.

Ehhh most Leafs fans are ok - I'll take their hardcores over Sabres fans every day. They'll have a lot of band wagoners much like the Canucks. They're the worst no matter which wagon they're on.

Exactly man. When Boston came back in game 7 I left them all alone. My roommate was a Leaf fan and we avoided each other for a week. I was watching in my basement and he was watching in his room. My uncontrollable celebration when Bergy tied it and then won it was already probably hard enough to hear but after that I left all Leaf fans alone. 75% of them would not do the same...

When it was 4-1 I was getting calls and texts from Leaf fans I know, when Bruns came back I never said nothing just let them stir in there own misery.Brutal fans absolutely the worst.

I don't want to face the Leafs just because I live in the area and I hate dealing with it. I have no issue with them making it, just would prefer they play someone else....like Washington.

As much as I would love to see the Bruins beat the Leafs, the misery that I would be put through if they lost isn't worth it.Would rather take chances against Sens.

Exactly...they want revenge which I find funny because the Bruins did nothing to them, the Leafs screwed themselves.

Leafs have a tough stretch with Washington, Columbus and Pittsburgh but will these games mean anything to those teams?

Yeah, couldn't stomach a Leafs series. The fans are the worst.

I never thought there could be anything worse than "24 Cups! (before I was born)" Habs fans. Till the "No Cups since before my grandparents were born." Leaf fans got a sniff of the playoffs. They are truly insufferable. Even Habs fans don't need to be threatened by a 30 day ban in order to keep them in their own playpen.

Yep if Leafs were playing the Scabs I'm cheering for the Scabs.

It's unreal isn't it? You can tell they are a bunch of amateurs when it comes to even the slightest bit of success. They have been a non entity for so long they shouldn't be this irritating.

This league kind of sucks when you think about it when you get less credit for a regulation win then you do an OT/SO loss.

Reg should be 3 pts, 2 for OT w and 1 for OT loss.

They really should do 2 pts reg win, and 1 pt for OT/SO win. You should never get a point for losing, ever.

But they're not getting a point for losing, they are getting a point for tying in regulation, which has been a model for the league since forever. The recent change was awarding an extra point for winning in OT/SO.

Exactly. Amateurs is the best description for them. Hard to act like you've been there before when you have literally never been there before! But hey, you'd think they'd be more like Sox fans circa 2003, cautious, but waiting for the inevitable failure. Not Leaf fans, they got a sniff at the post-season and they act as entitled as Pats fans, but without the championships.

If the Bruins at least get a point against Tampa tomorrow , min 8th place.

If the Bruins lose ... It is going to be a wicked ending

Sens are due for a breakout game and it could be against the Bruins... Capitals are unbeatable pretty much

A tie or win against Tampa is big

Man would I love to beat them. I have nothing against their team/players, but their fans are so ****ing annoying. They're decent once every ~5 years, and you'd think they're the Harlem Globetrotters of hockey once they make the playoffs. I really like Matthews, I think he's great, but I'm starting to dislike him based on the entire forum telling us to bow down to him... Would love to shut them up, see how well he does when he's put against Bergeron and Marchand for 4-7 games. Go look at the "Bruins vs. Leafs" poll on the main board... It's all Leafs fans saying Leafs in 4/5 and patting themselves on the back for winning the poll.

I have no idea.

They have been fun to watch of late so I really want them to extend their season.

I hope we know before the last game.

I am stressed....

Seeing as how this version of the Bruins seem to struggle with speedy teams i'd almost prefer they face Washington in round 1 as opposed to Toronto.

However there's no telling what these Bruins can do in the playoffs. If Krejci can step up, and they can get a formidable 3rd line going, they may squeak out a round or two. The 1st and 4th lines are absolutely lights out right now.
