Laviolette's skates did not touch the ice, and certainly not the first two periods. He doesn't have the team ready to play and they certainly don't adhere to a system.

He goes because they don't respect him. It's still the players fault. They have to change over 1/3 of the roster.

I’ve had enough of Fox. If you’re an undersized defenseman, you better be a great skater. And leave the defeatist, bland attitude at home kid. Pretty passes and the occasional snipe aren’t enough. Not at $9MM per year.

His drop off has been huge. No one can deny it. He is slower than ever. It's insane, he was pretty much a back 2 back Norris winner. Karlsson won over him because he had 100 pt season with no defense. It's sad to see, at one point I thought he might be a Hart candidate caliber player.

That's the problem, there is zero accountability. Lavi didn't even bench him for a shift after that debacle.
