While I agree, animals that die in the road attract other animals into the road to die. Same reason why it's a terrible idea to throw apple cores out the window even if they are fully biodegradable.

Three funerals I am going to next week. Just an absolutely awful couple of days. My family wasn’t apart of the news but a friend passed away, and two other close friends suddenly lost a loved one.

strange times indeed. a family friend i mentioned in my sausages post lost his mother in law recently (funeral was today) and an older italian lady down the road who does seamstress work for me lost her husband this week as well. both lived long lives


in other goings ons two friends are turning 50 (tomorrow and wednesday)...tomorrow is a party for one at 2 pm which cuts into devils hockey.

im allowed to miss some of the game, right?

Had a very fun time visiting the Inner Banks today. The Tundra Swan migration is pretty spectacular stuff. Would recommend OBX for a lot of reasons but especially if you’re a birder.
