I assure you, it's extremely stupid. But the stupidest stuff tends to be some of the funniest.I don't know what's going on but it's probably stupid if I had to guess.

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction- or in this case, funnier. It can be when it's a joke or theater. But I'm guessing this is "real".

Put another way: it's pretty much internet drama that involves influential people. And it's playing out very funny.
I got Odyssey by Magnavox when I was a kid in the 70's (yikes) except for the "pong" game, I actually had to tape plastic graphics onto my tv screen to play the other games, the Odyssey console and wired controls were as big as a Ford Pinto and performed about as well...I remember when we got Super Pong! Not just plain Pong. It was super!!

When I was a kid I lived through the ice age and it was winter all year long, and I wrote letters with vellum and quill while listening to Seals and Croft lolA kid in thr 70s? Did you eat wheat crushed by a mortar and pestle and work on making the first wheel? What did you wear in the winter? The skin of your enemies?

Honestly though, things were great growing up as a kid in the 70's, I was very mature for a kid but now I'm immature as an adult! I'm always gonna be a 20 year old!, I remember 1976 when we celebrated the Bicentennial, the Country was really the "United" States, there was no division and hatred for other Americans as there is now, I remember the band The Tubes and they asked Fee Waybill (the lead singer) if he was Bi, and he said "yeah, I'm Bi-centennial" LOL, and I remember watching a new show on TV called Saturday Night Live, with the not ready for prime time players, and walking to the little record store in my town to buy Physical Graffiti when it was released, oh I could go on and on...Vellum? At least you could write letters. When I was a kid the alphabet hadn’t been invented. We had to memorize any letters and walk to the nearest village and recite the letter from memory before walking back in the snow.

You mentioned sending us to Siberia, there was a TV show on UHF back then called the Uncle Floyd Show, he did a skit that always ended with "I'll send you to Siberia" something like that, what a great time it wasI tried to explain to my boys what a watershed moment the original SNL was. It just doesn’t translate but they did like the recent movie. I agree that when we were kids the idea that we were taught was the melting pot which I think has changed over the years but I didn’t want to go into politics because the Soviet overlords will censor us and send our families to Siberia.
Yeah it did, but by '76 it faded and the Bicentennial really brought the country togetherFeel like you might just be having member berries because the Vietnam War alone divided America greatly.
99.9% of the time that's correct. Occasionally though a bright moment appears in the midst of the chaos that you can enjoy before the darkness and insanity sets in again.my kids told me the scuttlebutt. I am so glad I'm not on social media. It's a curse not a blessing.
