You can always start over but you will lose anything saved like contacts etc.
How about the concert tickets in my Apple wallet?

They're still in the ticketmaster app, but for some reason I added them to my wallet. That's what I'm worried about losing.

I got them as a gift to my friend to go see an act that I wouldn't otherwise see. I would be really mad if I lost those after all I paid for them.

I’m not sure about the Apple wallet. Let me google it.

It is conflicting. Some answer says anything like a Ticketmaster purchase is linked to an Apple id but another answer said it won’t be lost if it’s downloaded to the phone

Alan Jackson. Like the country singer Alan Jackson. It's supposedly his last tour. He's up there in age and has health problems.

My friend wanted to see him before he hung it up. So I got us tickets and I'm gonna go with him.

It's not something I would go to if it weren't for him, but it's also not something that I'm embarrassed to be going to or annoyed that I have to go to either.

I don't mind him, when it comes to that type of music. He's not bad.

I grew up listening to country, so I have a soft spot for 90's country. I can't stand the more modern poppy or bro rock type country though.

Same here. Stuff like Alan Jackson and Vince Gill is fine. I don’t listen to it when I’m by myself or anything, but it’s not terrible music.

I can’t stand any of the newer radio country music at all.

I know people who listen to it and I just can’t do it.

I don’t at all relate to redneck culture or any of that.

My stepbrother is from Georgia, so he knew all about country back in the 80s when we were kids and I barely knew anything about music at all. This was before Alan Jackson and guys like that were even known outside of their hometown. I don’t know if he was a fan of it as much as it was what he was listening to with his mom and family back in Georgia.

I remember he knew all about George Strait, who was really young at the time. George Jones was another one, who was already ancient at the time.

And Hank Jr (and probably Sr too, but he was already long gone by then) who was probably a bit more edgier and once I started to understand his lyrics and beliefs I think I was pretty turned off by him. Not that I was ever into that music anyway.

So I was going through my pictures from my time in Kansas and I came across this.

IMG_20241105_132603217_HDR.jpg

I checked into a hotel in Wichita after 6 hours on the road and went to the hotel bar and asked for a beer. Bartender asked if I wanted to try something local...sure whatever.
Pleasantly surprised it was really good. Kind of reminded me of a Stone IPA wich I also like very much. I doubt I'll ever see this again but I would definitely buy it if I did.

I cannot drink IPAs, I guess I don't have the palate. Toms River Brewery's Stick Toss is the furthest away from the regular Miller Light that I'll go and I find Stick Toss to be very enjoyable.
My oldest loves an IPA. In my old age I prefer something less bitter and with some body. I had a coffee stout he had me try that was excellent. If it's in your neck of the woods, Abita Turbo Dog is enjoyable. Not too sharp but more oomph than a pilsener.

IPAs are my preferred beer style, and it's great that there are a ton of varieties out there. My usual method/thought process when I go to the package store is "Do they have any reasonably priced IPAs that I've never had before?" If yes, I get that. If not, I default to one of my local favorite IPAs.

I'm also glad I live fairly close to Treehouse, which is one of the best at making them.
