Anyone hear that story (can’t remember if it was Jason York who told it) but they were down somewhere in the US playing when they were younger - the other team was supposed to have this amazing player who was going to be a high pick - and the whole game they kept watching this other guy who was just way better….turned out to be Jensen.

Anyway Chabot is awesome.

So Yorkie's had an eye on him for some time .

He continues to be incredible. Been our best defensmen all year and probably among our top 3 players. Once Zub gets back (and hopefully plays well) we could basically have 2 top pairings

Seeing him succeed once he has an adequate partner is such a great feeling. Gives me hope for Sandy as well.

We don't need norris calibre guys on each pairing, just solid 2nd pairing guys that compliment the top pairing guys we have

That's why trading Dylan DeMelo for a 3rd round pick is one of Dorion very underrated debilitating moves


Josh Morrissey turned his career around in 2022-23 and is now one of the very best D-men in the show. Guess who he played with?

I have said it before but if some people think the damage Dorion has done is done and we can "move on" peacefully, think again. At least Staios seem to have fixed starting goaltending and a partner for Chabot, that's encouraging
