Chabot again is the perfect example of the disconnect between fans and NHL teams. A portion of fans would want to "get rid him" at any occasion, while NHL teams would jump on the player if available
Chabot's cap hit has never been a problem so far, even though Dorion tried his best to waste away cap space (money and assets too). There's nothing wrong in having more than one top dog at a position... the more you have the better, you obviously need savvy management and good complimentary players who don't cost a ton. Staios has been in place for just a few months, let's see how he can manage it
Don't disagree with all that but just to add. Brannstrom is also a guy he has been efficient with. Surprisingly, there was a drop this season when paired with Zub but they also didn't play a lot together and both had injury troubles
