Post-Game Talk: This one lasted a lifetime

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

This team doesn't deserve 4am wakeups, so watched it on delay.
Nice to get a win, but that was ugly as sin. At least there was a bit of effort and care shown I guess...
A terribly officiated game as well. I guess it's good to know that you can slash a goalie and not get a penalty? Not sure how a competent crew would miss a blatant high-stick in front of the net either.

It was the role play guys who kept us in it once again for the most part, along with Shesty, so congrats to Brodz on getting 2 goals.
I know he got a few assist, and the 2nd on was nice (3rd? I'm not sure whether he or Othmann got the assist in the end), but Laf really doesn't give us anything out there. If he manages to get the puck, he tries to force a pass through 2-3 defenders and then that's about it for a shift

This team looks like the kind of team that challenges for the top pick in the draft next year. Thanks to our soon to be former GM, that'll go to the Canucks. The Rangers won the battle today, but will lose the war.

1% chance that lights a spark and they go on a run, better odds than yesterday
What kind of run are you expecting? Even if they made the playoffs they will get smoked vs any playoff team in the first round. Not sure how anyone isnt rooting for a season ending collapse and miss the playoffs so we get some REAL changes in the offseason. It’s all about long term now, not short term gratification that leads to nothing.

And no, to that specific someone, this is not trolling. I actually care about the team in the future and want change.

Correct. There is no need to enhance the Pen's chances of picking McKenna.
and also, you know, playoffs are fun. It's fun to be part of the extra season, even if it doesn't go anywhere. Missing them for 7 years should have taught Rangers fans that.
Yes, there's a time and place where you need to miss them and draft well at the pointy end; but as that's not an option this season, playoffs and hopefully a win or two would be much more fun than not making it

Being competitive the next 6-7 years by blowing it up after this season is much more fun than sneaking in and getting blown out in the first round, then Drury thinking “well we still go in maybe we can keep some of the guys after all”.

The hand of fate will determine where we end up in the standings, if we make the playoffs or not, if we dont what kind of pick we get. What are we supposed to do, lose on purpose to rig it in our favor? Since what we hope for in any case has no actual effect on the outcome why not hope we can win and enjoy the ride. That's what I'm doing
