My interest started waning after Pacioretty blew out his Achilles then when other teams loaded up while we did our usual moneypuck by adding a garbage reclamation project and bottom pairing powerplay specialist, then went even lower when Svech went down.

That was a gut punch loss. We are so lost right now it’s not even funny. No scoring from our top forwards that should be able to chip and score in killing us. Ya we work hard, but that only gets you so far when your skill players don’t score. Sad. Season had so much promise and now here we are.

It’s the lack of scoring that is crushing us. We could overcome a bad let-in goal if we had any scoring punch. Even though we dominated the play for the majority of the game-you just felt a sense of impending doom.
