2 regulation wins, just heavily out-shot by Buffalo, I would pump the brakes a little.
The coach has turned this team around. I wonder what he could have done when Marty and Richards were here.

this is a bad team that tries hard sometimes to execute a system and usually plays with passion.
henrik was the difference tonight.
the sabres are more talented. by alot.
I don't think this team is above average right now. They are promising... We have three wins in a row, but Ducks and Sharks play really bad this time. We have beaten the Sabres and I'm really surprised... but they have back to back game. Hank is the King .. again.
But ... we are not as bad as I supposed. What does it means? Jack Hughes isn't topic for us...
Would have been nice to get a real coach before gutting the roster but hockey is different here.
More like this ISN'T a BAD hockey team. They aren't necessarily all that good, but nowhere near bottom 5 bad, to most of this board's chagrin.
Montreal will be an interesting contest on Tuesday.
Then two very winnable road games over the weekend in Detroit and Columbus. Win these next three, and maybe it's time to re-think the season goals.
Sorry, man, I mean no harm. "Anyone else think we'll better than we think?" was a little butchered. LOL. But we all knew what it meant so it was all good. Thanks, man.
Henrik Lundqvist was terrific in making 39 saves, but he also took a shot to the head/neck from fellow Swede Rasmus Dahlin late in the second period that put the goalie down. Lundqvist had dealt with neck issues earlier in the season, but stayed in the game.
“It was kind of my fault,” Lundqvist said. “When he started going around, I tried to attack him and he kept going, so I think I got his knee or his hip right into my head or neck. So we’ll see how it feels [Monday]. It’s not a great feeling.”
Lundqvist is not going to make it through the season in one piece at this rate. Quinn said before the Florida game Lundqvist is dealing with an upper body injury two weeks ago. Carpiniello wrote it is a neck issue.
Lundqvist took a hit to his head and neck in the LA game last Sunday or last Tuesday in SJ. I think it was the LA game. He looked dazed on play. McLeod ran into Lundqvist’s head and neck. Joe said Lundqvist felt a burning sensation running down his arms after the McLeod play. Stinger.
He took a slap shot off his mask last night in the first period. Lundqvist didn’t know where he was.
In the second period, Lundqvist decides to chase Dahlin behind the net and Dahlin’s knee hits a sliding Lundqvist in the same head and neck area. He had difficulty getting up after that hit.

I have to laugh about the "great coaching" stuff for a team that that has 2 regulation wins with a goalie standing on his head. And this is not a shot at Quinn -- I think he's doing a fine job. Seems to me this is a cheap shot at the last coach without nearly enough evidence to back it up.
Anyway, allow me to be the stick in the mud that reminds everyone that points in the standings do a great disservice to the organization this season. The stars have aligned and the Rangers need to embrace the suck.
