Yes. It was. But the contract seemed an overpay back then if I recall. It was a UFA signing, not a trade.

The teams aren't even close in front of them....Since being traded from Flyers Bobrovsky has won 55 playoff games
Flyers goalies since trade have won 14 playoff games (I don't count the 3 round robin seeding games from COVID bubble as actual playoff games)
Carter Hart = 7
Michal Neuvirth = 3
Steve Mason = 2
Brian Elliott = 1
Ray Emery = 1
It was terrible move to give up on Bobrovsky after his great rookie season because he struggled in playoffs (First time he had ever played that much hockey) and sign Bryzgalov
13 seasons later and Bob is 6 wins away from his potential 2nd Stanley Cup
Not in NHL anyone on phillys list? Hart only that might come back.Since being traded from Flyers Bobrovsky has won 55 playoff games

I’ll disagree. Sure that’s kinda silly. But look at the roster he has. He’s getting way more out of that team than he has any right to.Lol. Now you call a timeout? Not after the two goals in 10 seconds or whatever it was? Rod is overrated.
I like that they don’t let up. It probably carries over mentally for the opps into the next game. This panthers squad is phenomenal. Unusual team makeup too, not having a superstar 1D or dynamic scoring winger. They’re mean and overwhelming while getting good goaltending from Bob.Florida pouring it on in the 3rd period is getting to be a habit.
6-1
I was thinking the same earlier. As much as we clowned on them, there's a chance the leafs are the 2nd best team in the playoffsToronto gave Florida way harder of a time than Carolina. Which reminds me how much I hate the playoff system.
The East is just very weak nowadays. Washington was on a Cinderella run, New Jersey is missing their star 1C and is banged up in general, Montreal and Ottawa are fodder squads, TBL is old with poor depth and on the decline, and Carolina are Corsi paper tigers. Toronto being the 2nd best team doesn’t say much in their favor.I was thinking the same earlier. As much as we clowned on them, there's a chance the leafs are the 2nd best team in the playoffs
Bullshit. Each round gets more physical. The playoffs is physical. The Caps and Canes play mostly a finesse game (excepting 3 or 4 guys total) so a finesse team won.I was thinking the same earlier. As much as we clowned on them, there's a chance the leafs are the 2nd best team in the playoffs
