Rantanen never seemed particularly motivated in Carolina. He made it clear he didnt want to be there.

He's a terrible fit for what Carolina does. They dump chase and out work you. Mikko kills you on controlled zone entries.

Sort of where I'm at. I've been watching hockey since 2007 so I've seen most of Sid's career and all of McDavid's. McDavid's skating is just so phenomenal it puts him at that tier right below Mario for me. Crosby has the most talent I've ever seen so I usually lean in his favor. I think prime Crosby in today's league would be a regular 140+ point guy

Crosby's hockey sense is a savant. McDavid the better pure talent. Reminds me of Wayne vs Super Mario in that context. Can't go wrong with either. Crosby as a teenager is still the best I've ever seen come into the league.
