Ok, I had time to sort one last thing. You can tell whether Imgur links will work or not. If the file was uploaded by someone with an account, it will embed. If it was uploaded by a Guest, it will not.

So you don't even need tags for that. You can just C+P the URL of an Imgur page as long as there's a username listed as the uploader.

@DancingPanther I know this has been driving you nuts for a while. That's your answer.

It was a purposeful Imgur change on their end. You can't hotlink to a gif/gifv/mp4 uploaded by an anonymous user anymore. If you have an account and upload it, it will work. If you uploaded it as a guest, no.

Ok, forget the image tag. Use the media tag instead and most of them work. Imgur is hit and miss like it used to be.

If you know how to shorten it manually, you can do that and write out the tag. But you can just hit the "more options" dots immediately to the right of the Insert Image tool to show the Media button. Paste the URL in there. The sites that tool functions with are all listed in that popup.

I won't knock it. She just enjoys watching sports. Strongly suspect she will be a ref someday though. There are many hints at this. Like when she asks to play basketball with me, and by that she means that I shoot hoops while she blows a whistle at me for breaking her ever changing rules.

Very helpful when watching football though. Whenever a flag is thrown she runs to the screen pointing and yelling "FLAG. FLAG. MOVE THE BALL NOW." Her great grandfather was an NCAA official, I should see how she reacts if I start throwing his old flag during games.
