Your post got me to go look back at that draft. I was curious to see what Pitkanen's career numbers ended up being.
Went down a rabbit hole and checked out a few drafts, and man, how depressing.
I'm using 100 GP as an arbitrary definition for an NHLer.
1995 - 9 picks.
- Boosh (22nd) had a few decent seasons with us.
- Tertyshny died in a boating accident.
- Somik played parts of two seasons for us but went back home.
- No other NHLers.
1996 - 6 picks.
- Zubrus (15th) played a few seasons with us, and most of his solid career elsewhere.
- Jesse Boulerice was a waste of space and played 8 games for the Flyers.
