Oilers looked pretty bad for most game. Still ended up winning. Can't complain, need a better effort going forward.

They got better as the game went along.

I will take a improved, better motor, engaged Nuge at 5 on 5. There is no 3 on 3 in the playoffs. He looks good in an OT b/c there is so much more room.

2) Draisaitl - where would this team be without him?

That Nuge OT goal felt like that Nuge backcheck last year vs St Louis where the Oilers as a whole was really starting to turn it on.

After watching the replays, could only blame him slightly on the 2nd one. But made some solid saves and an absolute huge pad save in the 3rd. He's been solid all year but if Skinner can't pull his head out of his ass we won't go far.
