OT: TheDizee Prophecy Thread

I know that you are joking with this post. but I'll respond as if you aren't.

I really doubt that TheDizee is Easton in disguise, because there was a poster using the moniker: "Dizee" both on the old Official NHL St. Louis Blues Forum, and on The PD/St. Louis Today "Blues Talk Forum" as well. on those fora, Dizee made outlandish predictions, but also had a high % of negative posts about The Blues, often complaining about how bad The Blues' GM's and coach's moves were, and how poor The Blues' record would be until they'd change management regimes.

He projected a "know-it-all" attitude, rarely saying anything good at all about The Blues' players or management. THAT is very unlike Easton's style, which generally appears to be unbiased, fair and logical, and without agenda.

i never posted on the blues forum. as far as stltoday goes, that forum has some mods with a big politically correct agenda so i dont post there.

also "negative" posts are subjective. what someone views as "negative", another person may not.

There was some really bad back-n-forth between him and a handful of Buffalo posters. Both went over the line, but P9 didn't really have the best track record. It was ugly and personal.

Of all the threads I've been apart of, I don't think any were as bad as the Miller threads.

So true. Those Miller threads got really bad. The summer we were rumored to be in on Spezza from Ottawa was very bad as well. I feel like anytime there is a big name floating out there and your team gets tied to him some way those particular threads get bad fast.

I actually miss P9s. We argued at times but I always thought he was a quality poster.

Same can be said about Dizee. At times I find some of his post eye roll inducing but he is never afraid to put himself on a island with a dissenting opinion.

"brutal honesty". Why say anything at all? Its just being abrasive for the sole purpose of being abrasive.

But to answer your question, of course I do. That's the huge majority of the people in the world. Of course I care about them. That's normal empathy in a healthy person. People who lack that are sociopaths. I think I've answered my own question.
 
P9's left because a poster here (no need to bring his name into it) posted pics from P9's Facebook page to another forum (I think here). 9's was really pissed feeling that was a violation and demanded the mods ban that poster. When they didn't accede he removed all his posts here and left. Before leaving he sent pm's to several ppl(myself included)here because he wanted them to know why he left.

And yes, his posting style reminds me of Morty.

I never knew about that. I don't blame him one bit. I had a similar experience one time where someone looked up my salary (I was a state employee at the time) and other personal information and started berating me on a public forum with some of that info. It wasn't secret stuff, just stuff that normal etiquette keeps people from doing. In that forum, the offending person was permanently banned. It was a very disturbing incident and still bugs me.

Yeah, in a forum like this of anonymity, you expect it to stay anonymous. In a forum like Facebook, then it's a bit more blurry because you are attaching your real name to your posts.

Even in P9's case where it was relatively easy to determine who he was in real life. He shared that he was involved co-founding 538 quite a bit, and had has his twitter handle under his username. Easy to find, but you should never share that info in a setting like this where you remain anonymous, and the other person now has their public info on display.
 
That's wild about P9's. I had seen posters intimate at why he left but I never knew that's what happened. I would leave, too. I remember distinctly one of the threads he was involved with Buffalo posters because a great many of them were going on about how the Sabre's were the next powerhouse and were going to be led by their once in a generation defensemen, Tyler Myers and the Blues wish Petro would turn out to be half the D-Man Myers would be. Pretty funny looking back given how the teams (and players) turned out. I was still pretty new here at the time. Those threads should've been enough for me to turn tail and never look back ;)

Yeah when people who posted his **** on here was really wrong, but if you're doxxing yourself in your own profile then what do you expect. People suck in general, whether or not they are hockey fans

He wasn't doxxing himself, it just happened to be the same phrase. I found his twitter in 2 searches, and that's how I realized that phrase was his twitter handle.
