This is football but I remember for fan appreciation day NY Giants gave out 1 free medium Pepsi to season ticket holders. It’s even a little funnier cuz no matter how many tickets you purchased as a season ticket holder they still only got 1 medium Pepsi. (Example: family of 4 with season tickets? Only 1 free drink etc, you get the point)
Ik its probably not one of the worst giveaways on here but I found it funny. 1 free medium Pepsi. Not even a large

Some of these are hilarious though, so thank you.
RIP in peace JT MillerAka The J.T. Miller Memorial Trophy.
Every year the Hershey Bears have a few Hersheypark pass nights. Every fan in attendance gets a complimentary ticket to Hersheypark, the theme park right across the street from the Bears' arena, that's good through about halfway through the park's summer season. Given that regular admission to HP is nearly $80 and you're getting a ticket for the price of minor league hockey admission, these are always some of the most popular games of the year. Hell, some people just come to get their park tickets and just leave immediately without staying for the game, lol.Anyone have a best fan giveaway?
About 6 years ago The Flyers did a glow in the dark wristband giveaway in honour of Ed Snyder. The rink looked amazing with the lights down, pre-game.
Unfortunately when the Capitals started winning in the 3rd period…
Edit: Missed thanking you this morning for the Thread @hockeyarena
Anyone have a best fan giveaway?
It’s driving me crazier! Read the op and stick with the subject!I'm enjoying the two separate threads in one thing here. HF should try condensing discussions like this more often.
Montreal had their AHL farm team in Fredericton from 1990-1999. The financial support from local businesses was underwhelming. As a teenager I once won $25 gift certificate for the Carpet Ranch. Went straight in the trash
I remember winning this at a moose game and thinking the same thing. But then again, most tv timeout giveaways aren't meant for the arena. This one just happens o be for a product that is also sold in the arena. The Jets have a giveaway during the game that 1 row (about 18 people out of 15,000) receive a coupon for a buy one, get one slice of pizza, which is not redeemable in the arena.
It got me thinking, have you seen a giveaway more offensive, insulting, or cheap at a pro-sports event before? I'm ready to laugh.
Good old Fredericton. Surprised you didn't get a 2$ coupon for Dolans Nachos or something equally worthless, or a free memebership to the Co-Op for 1 month.Montreal had their AHL farm team in Fredericton from 1990-1999.
