Rinne is a Vezina caliber goalie.

And just like us, Nashville isn't in the playoffs because they don't score enough goals. Could we need a better backup then Hedberg? Damn sure, but we still would be out of the playoffs because we lack around 20 goals scored.

I guess watching Marty give up just 25 goals during a 10 game losing streak and keep his GAA under 2.16 was not real life? Was it aliens? I mean becuz I clearly don't watch deese here hockey games

He is facing literally 10-15 shots a game in that stretch. Maybe 30-40% of those are quality ones.

We are outplaying our opponents consistently and the puck possession differential is bordering on mind-blowing proportions.

Is it too hard to ask for better than a .900 save %? That's what I keep coming back to. Just answer that. Please. With all due respect. I just want someone to answer that. You can break down GAA all you want, when you are a goalie, the save % is the holy grail of how a goalie is judged. Pure and simple.

Do you of all people honestly believe that Guy Boucher would accept this kind of goalie play.

I thought I saw Lindback in there for a couple of those saves today.

Guy's defense in Tampa was horrendous, and still is more than the goalie's. Big Ben Bishop is soon to find that out. What goals exactly did you have an issue with today? Number 4 was kinda stupid, but the old Marty makes the same play every time. Goal 3 he got burned glove side, but the Volchenkov turnover, and him getting coned on the PK on the 4th goal really sticks out.
