Purely outcoached tonight and I have only used the "outcoached" thing just once this season.

It was obvious by the end of 1st that the lines had nothing going on. That 2nd line esp couldn't do jack**** at 5 on 5.

Maurice refused to make a simple adjustment of getting Perreault into the top-6 to get some offense going. In the end it was too ****ing late.

This team continues to play like a 1st round out.

I know people are going criticize Laine again but I think we should be directing some of that venom at Maurice instead of him. That line is getting destroyed night in and night out. Those players have shown that they cannot handle what is being asked of them and yet he does NOTHING to help them out. The way they are playing... either he needs to use them as a 4th line (which he can't because he doesn't trust his current 4th line to play more minutes) or something needs to change line-wise to get them going. Letting them twist in the wind like this is so bad. It's 12 minutes a night where we know nothing positive will happen.

I think Maurice is trying to protect Laine a little bit here, being safely in the playoffs. The kid should have been demoted for sure.

Personally I like that the Wild are pulling out their trump card mid season. The Jets will steam roll them if they should meet in the playoffs. The whole game will look like the 3rd.

That manatee Boudreau actually did homework on the Jets and had his team execute a game plan called a trap to neutralize our offence.

I hate the "out coached" line, but tonight was a perfect example. Unless it involves words, Maurice has no answers.

Just watch how the playoffs go. It is not hard to counter a trap, but it doesn't come naturally to our team due to the skill level and liking to create off the rush. When Nashville tried it in the playoffs we countered it.

Sawyer has gotten so annoying lately. It's a special class of homer call he is putting out... you have homer calls from guys like Jack Edwards and the Avs PBP guys who are clearly homers and openly rooting against the other team which is kinda entertaining in its own way.

Sawyer on the other hand is not openly homer but calls the game as if the Jets players are doing/can do no wrong, he rarely if ever criticizes their mistakes unless absolutely blatant like bad penalties. He also seems to go out of his way to give extra love to the "whipping boys" of the fanbase although that may be just my bias.

In games like this fans need to blow off some steam... someone needs to tell him that it's okay to criticize our guys in such games. Ray Ferraro on the other hand is not afraid to tell it like it is... he doesn't even hold back in a Juniors competition lol.

Ok, let’s just talk about the one period we looked good against them this year - the one where the Wild completely sat back and protected a lead.

Do ppl watch the game or just guess? Laine wasnt great but he's not even close to the biggest problem. Connor has sucked too. Scheif and Wheeler are overplayed and turning pucks over. We literally make zero adjustments all game..

This is on more than 1 player.. Actually i feel every coach has a shelf life and Maurice is likely close to his as it seems the team just dont GAF .
