I'd love seeing Kaskade or Steve Aoki at Electric Daisy Carnival. Tomorrowland looks pretty crazy too.

Reminds me of Dream Theater. ^

Very progressive, no doubt about it. Bit heavier than DT, vocals don't suck, and they do more time signature changes than Rush.

I love this kind of stuff. Being a band nerd has made it really hard to get excited about most modern music, but bands like this renew my faith in humanity to produce extremely technically skillful music that doesn't sound like absolute ass.

I stopped listening to them when Colors came out, I miss them like this. And even more so on their Self-titled, which I can't even find some of those songs on youtube. :l

They're certainly less angry, but they've gotten a lot more technical, which is what I appreciate.

Different strokes for different folks.

I just noticed that The Boss and The Godfather of Grunge have played there. You've been privileged and blessed:

From one of the songwriters of all time, and one of the most famous covers by some Mr. Hendrix..

Jimi's version is one of my top ten favorite songs, maybe even top 5...

New Mumford & Sons is outstanding. I thought the last album was good (maybe 3.5 of 5 IMO) but this one could be a solid 4.5+. Dude's voice is just fantastic.

Also, Dance Gavin Dance + A Lot Like Birds coming to town Dec 1st I believe. Plus lots of other progressive post-punk bands :D

Gorillaz is a great band. One of the few that can pull off mellow and intense at the same time.

Been listening to new Menomena and Grizzly Bear and can't wait to see both live:

I was close to getting Grizzly Bear tickets but alas, I have to work. Here's a favorite of mine from Menomena though.

New Avett Brothers is really growing on me. Some excellent songs on that album, and more cohesive than the last one.

Brilliant harmonies and a killer bridge:

"Through My Prayers" might be the saddest song ever written. Beautiful but sad.
