OT: The Wild Board Jukebox Thread: Part Deux

Arch Enemy dropped a new song just a couple of hours ago. I wonder if there's a 25% tariff on metal too, or is it just a paper tiger?

I can see you like your swedish 80's style metal as much as anyone. Here's another swedish west coast band with that 80's vibe.

I'd heard of them before. Never gave them a listen. Can't say that song did much for me really. I'll check out some of their other stuff. Mebbe just didn't like that tune.

I branched out from Swedish rock / metal. I've had a few of their tunes in one of my playlists for a few years. This song isn't "brand new", but I hadn't heard it til yesterday. New Kissing Dynamite. If I remember correctly, they're German. Great groove to it.

:eek3: What...why you do me like this...;)

Good tune. Reminded me a little bit about this one. Don't ask me why, they sound nothing alike.
But I listen to this song once in a while.

Marta did a cover of this song a couple of years ago. With a swedish drummer...

Did you like Peacemaker? They had a funny scene where Sister Sin was playing on the car stereo..
She's not a fan of the swedish metal, lol..

I've never even heard of it.
Great show with John Cena from the Suicide Squad . Funny stuff. Great soundtrack, all 80's metal. Many swedish bands like Sister Sin, Cruel Intentions, Dynazty, The Poodles among others.
Juvenile humour below the equator, just as I like it.

Sorry. It just happened. See? More Germans:

Ok, my dude, you got me big time on this one. Listened to it 4 times now.
Don't know how to sway you back on the swedes again.
I met this guy once back in the late 80's, I was still a teenager then. It was on the Hultsfred Festival, at that time the biggest summer festival in the deep woods of Småland, south mid Sweden.
I was strutting around in the beer tent area, a little tipsy with a fresh beer in my hand. Spotted a seat and asked if I may sit down. Sure, he said. I didn't even see who it was at first. He was such a cool, friendly, laidback dude, and we got along pretty well. There were others at the table too, but he made sure to include me in the company. Later I saw them play on the biggest stage, and then I realised who it was.
Conny, the lead singer and guitarist of Electric Boys, pretty big band in Sweden at the time.
They released a new song a week ago.

This song is also on the new album, I think you may like this more. I think you owe me at least two listens, right?

He also had a stint in a pretty famous band from Finland, Hanoi Rocks. The band with the drummer, Razzle, who Vince Neil from Mötley Crue killed in a car accident.

Electric Boys hit just a little too late here by the time grunge took off. I think they'd have been bigger had they gotten on the scene in the US sooner. By the time that 2nd album came out the 80's rock scene was done. Their song "All Lips 'N Hips" was a staple at strip clubs here in the states for a couple years though. PHENOMENAL groove to that tune.
