How many colonies is negan extorting from? If he brings Darryl to them all (unlikely) just giving him more info.

As far as we know, it's just The Hilltop, Alexandria and The Kingdom. As we saw with The Kingdom, Negan isn't a part of all the pickups. He did say Rick is special, though.

It appears he has never even been to The Kingdom, which looks far better equipped than The Hilltop does.

Rick is a horrible leader ,, Group should have overthrown him long ago

Hes not perfect thats for sure, but not sure there is any better option, besides Negan.

[spoil]has the "morse code" theory been discussed here? or is it considered a spoiler?[/spoil]

Good question, worst case there is a spoiler/comic thread, a few threads down.

I'm not a comic reader, so I avoid that thread.

[spoil]The theory is that Daryl is communicating with Rick using morse code. He's doing so by blinking his eyes to pass the message. The theory is strengthened by the fact that we see Michonne standing by a large poster/picture of morse code...[/spoil]

Hot damn, that's a good catch. I wouldn't consider it a spoiler but more just fan theory.

I just saw something I didn't notice.

The pop that Negan drank like, half of and then threw away was the pop that Denise made sure they got for Tara before she died.

Here is a link to a video from last week's episode about this theory. I won't embed, so if you don't want to see it then don't click it.

Theory seems legit.

I didn't buy it initially, but then Gimple gave his half-assed attempt at denial of the theory, similar to the way he denied Glenn surviving under the dumpster.

Is it true that this season is moving along at a glacial pace?

My fiance started without me and caught herself up on the DVR, she told me that the pace is purposefully slow through the first 4 episodes and there's been a lot of superfluous filler.

Yeah. They're doing one storyline per episode and it's a bit annoying. I'm still enjoying the season, but it is very slow moving and they're just killing time at this point.

Thanks. I don't mind the standalone episodes, especially if they're high quality like 'Clear' and 'Here's Not Here', but the show is sometimes too reluctant on them and it can feel like they're being used as a tool to get through a 16 episode season.

I'm going to finally start this season on Sunday and watch the 5th episode live.

Well someone did mention that these episodes are better when binge watched and makes sense.

I don't mind the centric episodes by themselves, but it did feel like an eternity (to me) between the premiere and when we got back to the core group in Alexandria.
