The Ultimate SHOOTOUT MOVES Thread

My favorite is the yakupov. Come in wide left (lefty), cut in drop it between my legs and fake between the legs shot, pull it back and backhand it top shelf.

In mens league fake shots work everytime.

As a right handed shot, I've found cutting wide to the left, then coming in across the middle, sliding the puck to my forehand for a second before pulling it back to the backhand and trying to lift it into the upper left part of the net from just below the faceoff dots works really well. there are times when goalies overcommit to the backhand before i actually shoot it and then i can sometimes put it back to my forehand and shoot to the right side.

I see what you're saying - any NHLers use that concept?

I saw derek roy use it a couple times in shootouts a few years ago and decided to give it a shot after that. frolik kinda did it in his penalty shot against detroit...although i personally swing more out to the left to start off. and his backhand is wayyy smoother and quicker than mine
Here's frolik's goal

Ohhhh okay I see the move you mean now!

You should watch Parise do it - he's the master! Though he just skates right down the middle.

He uses it quite often, and he is 2nd in the league in shootout goals scored barely behind Datsyuk.
